08. Yes, looking the other way. This road is quite busy, but not late morning especially

09. Approaching the A453 intersection (just by the on-slip). This is where the A453 traffic joins left, crosses the river, then exits right, so frantic lane changing here. A throwback to when this side of the river the A453 was A6019 and the other side it was A648. A remodelling of the ring road about ten years ago hasn't improved it.

10. Looking the other way... it says get in lane, but doesn't say where. A bit daft. Merely serves in practice of an ADS for a junction over a mile away.

Slightly esoteric this one. In a side street in Nottm city centre some of the thermoplastic yellow line has worn away from the brick paving. As the line is incomplete and not T-d off where it essentially alternates from single to double, the whole restriction is only enforceable as a single yellow line. Try telling that to the traffic wardens who keep putting fixed penalty notices on there! I made sure to give the loose line a good kick as i went past!
