01. Approaching the limited access zone, this is just approaching the Parliament St and Glasshouse St junction. The bus I had just got off is just in front of the photo - I actually beat it to BK which isn't bad seeing as my phone was acting up (not wanting to take photos, backlight turning off etc) and of course I was taking photos along the way. The fact it had a bus full of chavy school kids to unload is, well, beside the point :D

02. This is the last place where you can turn off before entering the new restrictions. Apart from buses, cycles, taxis the only other traffic that can enter is for legitimate access to premises. Bus to Southwell going the other way - it's normally a bit far for a 20 minute daytime service, but hey, it's quite useful :)

04. View looking up Parliament Street to the Milton Street junction. Previously the road up past BK used to be one way and 4 lane but now is S2, before this used to be S4 and 2-way.

05. Another view of the junction, this time looking up Milton Street, again used to be four lane and one-way heading towards the junction.

06. Further up, past the Milton Street junction yet again a no27 negotiating a zebra crossing - presumed incorrectly as per.

07. Approaching Theatre Square one of the new unilink buses (sadly 18 months too late for me) negotiates the zebra on the exit point.

09. A view of the same junction (with South Sherwood St) from a slightly different angle. The new building in the background is the cornerhouse complex - cinemas, restaurants, and up until it lost its licence the infamous Works nightclub.

10. Halfway up Milton Street opposite the old car park and John Lewis. This photo was taken at the edge of a zebra, and there is another one that the bus is waiting at. It is hard to believe there once used to be a main road where that crossing is!

11. At the surprisingly deserted junction with Shakespeare Street - these (10-19) were taken mid-morning.

13. Further down - this bit is essentially one-way as far as the route is concerned.

14. Looking up North Church St from Shakespeare St, this is one lane whilst the building works take place.

15. At the top of North Church St. This road - Burton St - used to be one way down hill, now it is one way uphill.

16. The first of three shots at the Burton St / South Sherwood St jnt. This one is looking up towards Burton St, the building on the left is the Royal Concert Hall.
